Founder and Principal Planner
Andréas Guevara-Nadeau
BIO:
Andreas Guevara-Nadeau, AICP, is the Founder and Principal Planner of Aster Planning LLC, where they bring experience in community planning, infrastructure resilience, and master planning development across Tennessee. Andreas has managed and contributed to a variety of planning initiatives, including comprehensive regional plans, strategic plans, housing studies, parks and recreation plans, corridor plans, economic development strategies, and regional disaster recovery planning.
Before founding Aster Planning, Andreas served as a Regional Comprehensive Planner for the East Tennessee Development District and worked as a Planner and Project Manager with Community Development Partners. In these roles, they led multidisciplinary planning projects funded by federal and state grant programs. Additionally, Andreas has experience in real estate analysis and infrastructure resilience research.
Andreas holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. As an AICP-certified planner, they are dedicated to providing intentional, collaborative, and impactful planning solutions that help local governments enhance their communities, improve quality of life, strengthen resilience, and achieve long-term community goals.
